Native Detox:

We believe that bathing gives us a chance to take a real break from the day and provides us with some much needed quiet and comfort. Aside from boosting our mood, bathing can help reduce inflammation, help us sleep better, and soothe muscles. Bathing feels extremely relaxing, peaceful, zen, quiet, warm and soothing. Relaxing the muscles not only soothes us physically but also mentally.

Our Detox Bath Salts are blended with Kawakawa and Mānuka Leaf. Kawakawa and Mānuka leaf are both known for their wonderful healing properties and aid in the soothing and repair of insect bites, stings, skin rashes, poor circulation, bruises, wounds, burns, aches, pains, sunburn, dry cracked skin, eczema, psoriasis, and inflammation.

Kawakawa (Macropiper excelsum) is a New Zealand native shrub or small tree which grows throughout New Zealand. Its beautiful heart-shaped leaves are very aromatic, and native looper moth caterpillars find them irresistible. As a defence against being chewed to bits, the kawakawa plant releases an oil that gives the leaves their medicinal value and smell fresh and uplifting.

Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons under warm running water and gently swirl with your hand until the salts have dissolved.
